In the early 1990s two young go-getters named Terri White and Cori Rice started with Todd Robert Murphy Advertising & Public Relations, a full-service advertising and PR firm that, for nearly two decades, handled everything from PR, public affairs and political campaigns to traditional advertising, media buying, strategic marketing and design. Terri and Cori were with the company for more than 15 years before they were approached about purchasing it in 2005. After deliberating (for several minutes at least) they realized that this was an opportunity to create the agency they always dreamed of - a small, friendly, approachable agency that helped companies and organizations of all sizes (with budgets of all sizes) grow. Plus, the name was a no-brainer. (Although Cori still wishes Terri's name was "Terri Cake" so she would've gotten top billing. But whatever.) So in January of 2006 White Rice Advertising & PR was born.
