The Cogency

Formed in April 1999, The Cogency is an independent marketing company, specialising in work for the arts and cultural sector. Throughout the company’s history, we have worked with a range of cultural venues, festivals, museums & galleries, local authorities and government organisations, commercial producers, broadcasters and touring & producing companies. The Cogency team has extensive cultural marketing experience and the flexibility to fashion each project to the client’s individual needs, offering a bespoke, not a “one size fits all” approach. The team specialises in complex projects with multiple partners and stakeholders and is skilled at integrating itself within project teams to deliver shared objectives. Our work spans the range of artforms: through music, dance, theatre, visual art & installation, to film and outdoor arts, as well as new commissions and site-specific projects or work presented in unusual or non-traditional spaces.
