Morris+Mitchell

A pilot project was staged in 2008 with three adventurous students. From our official grand opening in 2010 to the thriving entity we are today, more than 300 students have received robust, hands-on learning, preparing them for career success. Morris+Mitchell is named after two individuals who have had an enormous impact on ACU. The first part of the agency’s name comes from the seventh and longest-serving president of ACU and the namesake for the building in which the JMC department and our agency offices reside, the late Dr. Don H. Morris. The second name honors JMC alumna Elise Smith Mitchell, president and CEO of Mitchell and CEO of Dentsu Aegis Public Relations Network. Elise's generosity with her time, guidance and financial resources have made possible the growth and sustainability of the program, not to mention the cool office space where we work. Morris+Mitchell alumni now populate agencies, corporations and not-for-profit groups from New York to California and from Brazil to Singapore. Watch out wor
